Igor Boni, 45, graduated in forestry; was born, lives and works in Turin but his origins are in the mountains of the Tuscan-Emilian Apennines. He is the head of the Environmental Pathologies and Soil Protection Operating Unit of IPLA SpA, a company of the Piedmont Region that deals with issues related to the environment and territorial planning.
He is the author of numerous publications and scientific and popular articles, in particular related to the quality and characteristics of the soils. Passionate about mushrooms and all the elements related to Nature and Ecosystems, he is a careful observer and scholar of the transformation processes of the territory linked to the dynamics of populations and climate change.
For almost 30 years he has been interested in politics; actively deals with civil rights, transparency of the public administration and international politics, as well as projects aimed at reducing land consumption and waste of water resources.
